All Nursing domain machines will reboot after receiving critical security patches at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15th.
On Wednesday, March 15th, from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., ITS will perform routine monthly Patch Tuesday updates from Microsoft on our file servers, including the Research file server. During this timeframe, you will experience interruptions to file access on network drives as the file servers and Research file server will require multiple reboots. These patches are necessary to keep our servers secure and up to date. Additionally, your desktop machine will reboot overnight as they do each month for Patch Tuesday.
